How green are we?

At TV-SAS we care about our planet and your purse. We see far too much of the ‘disposable society’ and we believe it needs to change. As a responsible company, we strive to play our part to help to recycle the resources we all have, rather than see them go to landfill. By doing this, we help to keep the general production costs of consumer products down, by helping to make existing metals and plastics available for reuse, rather than the extra expense of creating from scratch.

We also believe that we can help our customers cut costs directly too. When we commit to an installation, we will reuse what we can, even if we are replacing an entire system. So, if the existing data cabling is still of useable quality and speed, we won’t replace it.

When completing a new installation, we always recycle as much of the packaging as possible, currently about 97% is possible to be recycled. Sadly however, some plastic packaging is not yet reclaimable, so we haven’t managed to reach 100%. We adapt as systems improve, so hopefully one day we will be able to recycle all of it.

Travelling outside peak times also helps to reduce our carbon footprint. It means that we can accommodate the school runs and fit better round you with appointments. This also helps keep our costs down, as we aren’t using as much fuel to get to you. With less expense on fuel, fewer emissions into the atmosphere, and a cost saving for our customers, everyone wins!
